by Sphesihle Tsabedze and Ncamiso Xaba on January 29 2023

Introduction:

The University of Eswatini is abuzz with excitement as the highly anticipated Mr and Mrs UNESWA event draws near. The Minister of Internal Affairs, in collaboration with the Directors of Entertainment from three campuses, has been diligently working to ensure that this event becomes a memorable experience for all the students involved. However, there have been some unforeseen challenges that required adjustments to the original plan. In this article, we will delve into the preparations, expectations, and the unfortunate change in venue, while also highlighting the sincere apologies extended to the students.

Collaborative Efforts:

The Minister of Internal Affairs, along with the Directors of Entertainment from Mbabane and Luyengo campuses, has been working tirelessly to organize a grand event. With shared entertainment goals, their collective efforts have resulted in a comprehensive plan that promises an unforgettable experience for the students. The date has been set, the music is ready, and the entire team is focused on ensuring that the event lives up to the students' expectations.

Adjustments and Challenges:

While the Minister of Internal Affairs had initially planned to hold the event at the prestigious Sports Emporium venue, unforeseen events from the previous Mr and Mrs UNESWA event led to a change in plans. The school property was tampered with, causing the venue to be temporarily inaccessible. As a result, the team was compelled to seek an alternative location and decided on the MPH of Kwaluseni to host the event successfully. The Minister deeply regrets this change in venue and acknowledges that it may not meet the students' expectations.

Expectations for the Event:

Despite the change in venue, the Minister of Internal Affairs is determined to make the Mr and Mrs UNESWA event a night to remember. A professional instructor has been enlisted to guide the contestants, ensuring that they meet the expected standards. However, above all, the Minister hopes to see happy faces and smiles throughout the event. The primary objective is to create an environment where students can have fun and enjoy themselves, as their satisfaction is of utmost importance.

 Sincere Apologies and Future Commitments:

The Minister of Internal Affairs would like to extend sincere apologies to the students for the change in venue. It is acknowledged that the Sports Emporium venue held a special place in the hearts of the students, and the inability to secure it this time is deeply regretted. However, the Minister assures the students that their desires and aspirations were known even before assuming office. Every effort was made to achieve their expectations, but unfortunately, this particular aspect could not be realized.

In conclusion, the Mr and Mrs UNESWA event is poised to be a remarkable celebration of talent, entertainment, and student unity. Despite the change in venue, the Minister of Internal Affairs, along with the Directors of Entertainment, is dedicated to ensuring a memorable experience for all participants. The event promises to be filled with joy, excitement, and a vibrant atmosphere that caters to the students' desires. The Minister's sincere apologies are extended, coupled with the commitment to continuously strive for the students' satisfaction in future endeavors.

  1. How can you be happy if you are hungry? Why don't we be wise enough to take the money that is allocated for the event and be injected where most students will benefit e.g Students counseling
This thing of this event is a one night thing but student suffering will still continue for a long time maybe suicide may be experienced.
Let's be open minded in some other things.
